The tables are turning and AJ is starting to look more and more like his daddy. ...and of all the things I really wanted AJ to inherit of his daddy's...it was those smilin' eyes! JJ's has eyes that smile at you all the time...I am so glad AJ has those same features!Gotta wear shades.
Hello all family and Friends! We have spent the last 5-years “livin' the dream”. (JJ's favorite saying)… as we have laughed plenty, cried very little, and most of all LOVED passionately! So, I have decided to document our Journey of parenthood for all our family & friends to enjoy…because ANYONE and EVERYONE knows we certainly do enjoy being parents. It continues to be an unbelievably amazing & extraordinary adventure which leaves us to look forward to the rest of our lives!
More About The Family in 2007
This year has been a pretty fast paced whirl wind of events. First off AJ started kindergarten that was an amazing journey in and of itself (mostly for mommy and daddy) Our decision to place AJ in a private Christian school was one of the most important and greatest ones we have made for our child thus far in his life. He has excelled beyond what we could have hoped for. He is reading at a really advanced level, doing basic and complicated math for a 6-year old, but more importantly he believes in Jesus as his savior. My heart swells with pride and indescribable joy with the things he has learned and accomplished this year.
JJ also finished his paramedic training and is now a nationally certified paramedic. I am so proud of his accomplishments because as most everyone knows...it was not an easy road for him to travel. But now it is behind him and that light at the end of the long and dark tunnel is now illuminating a much more successful future for himself.
As for myself, I have started to build a pretty steady and growing massage practice. I was able to go on call at the ER and pursue my bigger dreams of becoming a full time massage therapist. Things are really looking up for our family household. Just as many of you told me they would! Thank-you to each and every one who gave me words of encouragement, advice, and kept me going when things were rough. I could not have done half as much as I have without you.
Much Love,
MJ
